FORT PIERCE, Fla.—Zora Neale Hurston's life will be on the big screen for
a private screening on December 15th at Club Med Sandpiper.  
Admission is only $60 and includes dinner.  

The screening will be attended by various community leaders who have
been instrumental of this labor of love is a production of the St. Lucie
Film Society.  The Society received a grant from the St. Lucie County
Cultural Affairs Council earlier this year for this project which was
originally to appear in part at the Orange Avenue Post Office Museum.  
Other community leaders also supported the project which was directed
by Jose Garofalo, produced by Yusif Isin and written by Jose Garofalo
and Yusif Isin.

Local cast and several re-enactments were set here in Fort Pierce, but
research, interviews and b-roll were collected in Gainesville, Eatonville,
Atlanta, Washington D.C. and New York City.
